ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager Support Services will supervise and support a team of bilingual Direct Care Staff and volunteers to deliver flexible respite and personal care in the home as well as individual and group social support for eligible members of the community including older people and people with a disability, many of which are from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities (CALD backgrounds). The Manager Support Services will also support office staff in the day-to-day operations to ensure quality service delivery across all programs.

We are looking for strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills, demonstrating characteristics of emotional intelligence, inclusive values and a passion for fostering a collaborative environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet operational priorities will also be considered favourably.
A good understanding of quality standards of care and knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in Aged Care or Disability services will be highly regarded.

Gippsland Multicultural Services (GMS) is a community-based organisation supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals. We provide a range of services to migrant, refugee and culturally and linguistically diverse community members across Gippsland, specialising in Aged, Disability, Settlement and Engagement services and community connection. We work alongside, and in partnership with many agencies to ensure the needs of clients accessing services are met.
