About GMS
Gippsland Multicultural Services (GMS) is a community-based organisation dedicated to supporting culturally diverse communities in the Gippsland area. Established in 1984, GMS emerged from collaborative efforts of diverse regional communities. Advocating for Gippsland's multicultural community for almost four decades, GMS actively voices issues, interests, needs and aspirations on various forums. Through a wide range of programs and services, GMS aids migrants and refugees in community engagement and service access, providing vital support to both the multicultural and broader community. Their mission includes promoting multiculturalism, diversity, and highlighting the achievements and concerns of diverse communities in the region.
